I'm not often an insomniac but tonight I'm feeling it. I have to get up to get ready for work in a couple hours. Boo.

I was looking through old pictures on my computer today and found this one from years ago of the Dilly.

Flashback

My mom was busy cleaning out her craft/ironing/sewing/clothes storage/holiday decoration/multi purpose room the other night. After hours of her being in there up to something, I decided to go in and pay her a visit and see what she was up to.

She was busy sorting through a pile of books and was almost done. I of course immediately started cracking jokes at the sheer size of the pile of books and was making fun that her keep pile was far larger than her "donate" pile. So I naturally started helping weed out the really donate ones in the keep pile.

This was another winner I found. I MADE her get rid of it after reading the 101 uses to her to help her realize the absolute uselessness of this. (She did however make me keep the free bandanna that came with the book. Which was still in mint condition perfectly folded inside the front cover)

My mom was upset when I threw it to the donate pile and I challenged her that any useless information contained in this book could easily be found on the internet.

She called me out and said I could not.

Foolish.

I of course checked my favorite site when it comes to online shopping and look what we have here....

furniture dreaming

ever since I signed the lease agreement on my new apartment I have been furniture dreaming. I have no real functional furniture (some bookshelves and decorative cabinets) So I have been searching for a couch, dining room table and chairs and a bed.

I found this table the other day and it is everything I have been looking for.

Definitely going to save my monies for this guy....

Happy New Year

Had a blast last night with friends celebrating the New Year.
